The External Operating System
The updates that happen around you: the rooms you live in and the people you live among. Change the engineering and the results follow.
These two updates run on the same four questions. In the Environmental Operating System you ask them of a room: what is here, what is seen, what is convenient, and how does this space make me feel. In the Social Operating System you ask them of the people in it: who brought it, whose plate am I looking at, who is making the easy thing easy, and who is in the room when I feel that way.
Do the rooms first if you have not done either. It is the gentler of the two, and it teaches you the questions before you point them at people you love. Then pair it with the Internal Operating System updates, which decide whether any of it holds.
