Your world is perfectly engineered to give you the results you are getting. Some of that engineering is outside you — the rooms you live in, the people you live among. That is the External Operating System.
But some of it is inside you, and it is the part that decides whether any external change survives contact with a bad week. That is what these updates are for. They are the reason two people can be handed the identical plan and get opposite results.
